About these terms

These terms apply to your use of the H&C Cleaning & Maintenance website (“the site”), operated by H&C Cleaning & Maintenance, based in Hailsham, East Sussex. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

These terms cover use of the website only. Any work we carry out is governed by the quotation and agreement we make with you directly, not by this page.

Information on this site

Guides, the painter’s dictionary, problem pages and other content are general information written in good faith. They are not a substitute for a professional assessment of your property, and manufacturer instructions always take precedence over general advice.

Prices shown on the site are starting prices, not fixed quotations. Final quotes depend on the size, condition, access and work involved, and materials may be charged separately. H&C is not VAT registered, so VAT is not added to our prices.

Photographs on the site are illustrative of the type of work we undertake.

AI room visualiser

The room visualiser uses artificial intelligence to generate an impression of how a room could look with a different colour or wallpaper. Results are illustrative only — they are not a promise of the final appearance, colour accuracy, finish or suitability of any product.

Only upload photographs and designs you own or have permission to use. Do not upload images of other people without their consent, or anything unlawful, offensive or misleading.

You keep ownership of what you upload. By uploading, you give us permission to process the image solely to generate your visualisation.

We may limit how many visualisations each visitor can generate per day, require sign-in, and suspend or block access where the tool is misused, to keep the service available and affordable for everyone.

The visualiser is provided “as is” and may be unavailable, changed or withdrawn at any time without notice.

Enquiries and quotes

Quote requests and messages sent through the site are handed over to WhatsApp for you to send yourself. An enquiry is not a booking, and no contract exists until we confirm details and price with you directly.

Intellectual property

The H&C name, logo, site design, text and our own photographs belong to H&C Cleaning & Maintenance. Manufacturer names and logos mentioned on the site belong to their respective owners and are shown with permission or for identification only; H&C is not approved, accredited or endorsed by those manufacturers unless we say so explicitly.

You may not copy, reproduce or reuse site content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Links to other websites

We link to manufacturer, supplier and other third-party websites we think are useful. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability.

Liability

We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided without guarantees. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from use of the site, reliance on general guidance, or decisions based on AI-generated visualisations. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law, and your statutory rights are not affected.

Privacy

We only collect the details you choose to send us when you make an enquiry, and we use them solely to respond to you. Sign-in for the visualiser is used to manage fair use of the tool. We do not sell your information.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page is the current one. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
